The Rossbrand (1,768 m) is justifiably regarded as one of the most beautiful and scenic mountains in the Eastern Alps. Fortress Hohenwerfen

A trip to the high mountain lakes of Kaprun is a fascinating journey into the mountains. The fresh air, the pastures, the turquoise waters of the lakes and glaciers of the Hohe Tauern are intense impressions.
The ramp to get to the lakes beginns at the "Kesselfall-Alpenhaus" in the rear part of the valley. Modern buses will bring you through stone tunnel to the Lärchwand-lift.
