The Stoneman Taurista is a top-class mountain bike experience in the heart of the Salzburger Sportwelt and in Obertauern. Over a distance of 147 kilometers and with 4,700 meters of ascent, the circular tour leads from the valley towns of Flachau, Wagrain-Kleinarl, Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, Radstadt, Forstau, Filzmoos and Obertauern up to over 2,100 meters above sea level.

New Checkpoint:
Stoneman Taurista is supplemented by “Checkpoint Penkkopf”. With the 2,011-meter-high Penkkopf, another local mountain is joining the Stoneman Taurista from this season. The new “Checkpoint Penkkopf” in Wagrain-Kleinarl comprises the approx. 3-kilometer-long Hirschleitentrail and the approx. 2. 75-kilometer-long Penkkopf shared trail.

Stoneman Taurista Bronze 2019
The Stoneman Taurista is a mountain bike circuit of 123 kilometers and 4700 meters of altitude. As with the Stoneman-Miriquidi, Glaciara and Dolomiti, it is also necessary to reach several stamping points. This can be done in one, two or three days, depending of course on your fitness level.
