The impressive mountain scenery of the Stoneman Taurista entry points Flachau, Wagrain-Kleinarl, Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, Radstadt, Forstau and Obertauern forms the backdrop for this extraordinary mountain bike adventure.
Designed in three stages, the Stoneman Taurista leads over the Ginausattel to the Hochgründeck. It is also attracted by the 1,768 meter high Rossbrand. An overwhelming panoramic view over 150 striking Alpine peaks – such as Dachstein, Bischofsmütze and the Hohe Tauern with Grossglockner-is the reward.
To the south, the Stoneman Taurista passes the Almidylle of the Oberhütte.
The route leads over the 2,110-metre-high Königsascent with the crossing of the Tauern via the Johannes Waterfall and the picturesque Gnadenalmen back to the valleys of the Salzburger Sportwelt.
On 123 kilometres along glittering mountain lakes, lush alpine meadows, rustic mountain huts and the summit crosses of the Salzburger Land – this is the new Stoneman Taurista.

The Stoneman Taurista is a mountain bike circuit with a length of 123 kilometers and 4700 meters of altitude. As with the Stoneman-Miriquidi, Glaciara and Dolomiti, it is also important to reach several stamp points. This can be done in one, two or three days, which of course depends on the respective fitness.
